Speak Up

Someone will always question your parenting.  Instead of fumbling for answers, arm yourself with replies for those inevitable situations.


Relative refers to your child as "that girl".
   May daughter has a name, it is _____________.

Why are your children so loud?
     My children are playing, they are enjoying themselves.

Do you ever tell them no?
      I reserve use of the word no for situations that warrant it.  

If you answer him every time he calls your name, that boy will always expect you to come.
     I hope that my son knows that I will always be there for him.

That baby is big enough to walk.
     Your son is old enough to cook, but you made his breakfast and made his plate.
