Stress and hunger are symptoms that can undermine the most positive of parents. During the holidays errands and commitments can easily rob us of time and before we know it our children are whiny and cranky from lack of food. I am in the habit of eating out, but over the nest couple of weeks I plan to make better use of my crock pot. There is nothing better than walking into a kitchen fragrant with the smell of dinner, and knowing that the entire family can sit down to eat within minutes. Talk about stress release and a cranky hungry child eliminator!
