Day 21

Spiteful Celebrations

I don’t deserve the grace and mercy of Christ’s love any more than my son deserves or needs a gaming computer.  My son like all 11 year old boys is learning to work on impulse control and following directions.  He has a habit of forgetting to turn off the iPad at the allotted time.


Even with his struggles, we bought him a gaming computer for those 20 minutes of daily game play.  Yes, I am sure that some days will be more of a struggle than others, but his father and I want him to know that we value his interests and support his dreams.


Everyday I fail, but Christ continues to see past my faults and blesses me with the gift of life.  How can I not extend the same spirit of giving to the child I created.
